Tech Pack
A tech pack is the specification document a brand hands a factory to make a style — construction details, measurements (the spec/graded measurements), bill of materials, trims, labels, and tolerances. It is the source of truth for what gets produced.
Incomplete or out-of-date tech packs are a leading cause of sampling rounds, fit failures, and production delays. Each revision that lives in email rather than a shared record risks the factory building from the wrong version.
A tech pack connects development to production: the same BOM and costing feed the target margin and, eventually, the PO.
